2020 Miami Ad School scholarship Competition Report


The Miami Ad School Scholarship Competition organized by CHINI Africa, offers African creatives the opportunity to study on partial scholarship at Miami Ad School campuses around the world. Miami Ad School is the most awarded advertising school in the world, and the Future Lions 2019 Best Advertising School. The competition is now in it's tenth year.


This year, the winner of the competition also gets a cash prize of NGN 100,000 (USD 227), courtesy of Noah's Ark Communications, Lagos.


Registration for this year's Miami Ad School Scholarship Competition opened on 14th October and closed on 8th November, 2019. Then the brief was released on Monday, 18th November, 2019. The brief simply required the students to come up with a campaign idea that illustrates the beauty of their country in a modern, digital way. The answer to the brief had to be submitted by 29 November 2019.


Ten participants were shortlisted for the Miami Ad School Scholarship Competition as follows:

The entries for the competition were judged by Sabine Georg, Managing Director, Miami Ad School Europe and her team.


Ayoyemi Oladipo was announced as the winner of the Miami Ad School Scholarship. The winning work can be viewed on the Pitcher Festival website.
