Dr Ken Onyeali Ikpe, Group Chief Executive Officer, Insight Redefini, has been announced as 2019 Pitcher Awards Channel Jury President by CHINI Africa organisers of the awards show and Cannes Lions Official Festival Representative in Nigeria. This follows an earlier announcement of Mihnea Gheorghiu, Global Creative Director, Publicis Italy as the 2019 Heritage and Innovation Jury President. The Pitcher Awards Channel Jury will judge entries for Use of Media, Use of Data, Use of Insights and Strategy, PR and Reputation Management as well as Integrated Campaigns.
Speaking on his expectations as jury president, Dr Onyeali Ikpe said, "I hope to see incredible creatives to give hope to a generation of industry greats".
Ken Onyeali Ikpe holds a Ph.D. in Development Economics from the Academy of Sciences, School of African Studies Moscow Russia, an alumni of Advanced Management Programme (AMP), Lagos Business School, and also trained at the IESE Business School, Barcelona – Spain.
Dr Ikpe is highly sought after by result driven leaders as he is renowned for visionary business transformation leadership, with over two decades of building successful brands and transforming businesses. He is a fellow of Nigeria Institute of Marketing and the current President of Nigeria’s regulating body for Media Independent Practitioners (MIPAN).
Ken is a thought leader on leadership, branding, marketing communications, public relations, perception engineering and sports business. He is an effective, disciplined, consistent leader, a man of style with a great sense of humour. Ken leads by deepening what works, he embraces well researched truth & new knowledge, he builds capacity for loyalty amongst his constituents and absolutely committed to the increasing success of his team.
Ken is a life management coach, business mentor, teacher and a lover of growth and development. He lectures part time at the School of Media and Communication (SMC) Pan Atlantic University. He is known and respected as a visionary leader, with strong business acumen and loved for his pragmatic view to politics and Governance.

Pitcher Awards is a part of the Creativity Week, the number one WECA creativity event and awards show organised annually by CHINI Africa Cannes Lions Official Festival Representative in Nigeria. The programme will take place at the MUSON Centre Lagos from 25 – 30 March 2019.
