The General Manager of Wild Fusion, a seasoned digital marketing professional, online enthusiast and strategist, Agatha Emina, has been named the Jury President for the Innovation category of the Pitcher Awards. She will be joining Lanre Adisa, MD/CCO Noah’s Ark, President Heritage Jury and Yemi Badejo- Okusanya, MD CMC, President Channel Jury to oversee the judging of the entries at the 2018 Pitcher Awards. Agatha Emina and her Innovation Jury members will judge entries in Social Media, Websites, Microsites and Web Services, Apps, Games, Messaging as well as Devices and Novel ideas.
Agatha holds a bachelor’s degree in English and Literary Studies as well as an MBA from the University of Essex. She is also a certified Subject Matter Expert from the Digital Marketing Institute, Ireland with core competency in mobile marketing and social media marketing and has over eight years of working experience in the digital industry from the client side and the agency side. Her expertise spreads across various industries like financial, e-business, online advertising and traditional advertising industries where she worked as Digital Strategist and Project Manager.
An analyst with great depth in brand dimensioning and perception communication, Agatha is very passionate about digital marketing and with her role at Wild Fusion she has helped businesses succeed in the digital space by offering return on marketing spend on real business objectives and not just “clicks & impressions”. Her strong understanding of digital marketing and project management sectors include FMCG brands, Telecom, Finance and more. Some of her latest works include taking Close Up and Knorr Nigeria online and enabling these brands succeed while increasing Returns on Marketing Spend.
The confirmation of her selection as Jury President was made by the organizers of the event, CHINI Productions, the official Festival representative of Cannes Lions in Nigeria. CHINI Productions also announced the close of the Miami Ad School Scholarship Competition. The first in the series of competitions leading to the Creativity Week. While, the Miami Ad School Scholarship Competition has officially closed, entries for Pitcher Awards and other competitions are still open at www.creativityweek.events.
The Pitcher Awards is set to celebrate the best of the best ideas in tech and marketing communications from West and Central Africa. Special awards will include Agency of the Year, Advertiser of the Year, Young Pitcher Award and Best Original Work in French.
The Pitcher Awards is part of the Creativity Week, CHINI Productions’ pre-Cannes Lions Festival programme which will take place at the MUSON Centre Lagos from 19 – 24 March 2018. Other events held as part of the Creativity Week are the Young Lions Competitions, the Miami Ad School Scholarship Competition, the Young Professionals Academy, Future Creative Leaders Academy, the Creativity Week Expo, Creativity Week Seminars and the closing Pitcher Awards Night and Gala on 24 March 2018.
